3813. Morgenstern
Schweiz, datiert 1646 (?). Länglicher achtkantiger Kopf in Rundschaft übergehend, einige Risse und wenige Wurmfrasspuren. Die Jahrzahl „1646“ sowie Initialen des Besitzers oder Herstellers (?) wurden am Anfang des Kolbenkopfs eingeschnitten. Im Kopfende mit Zwinge steckt eine eigesetzte klingenartige Spitze mit flacher Basis und gegratetem Rücken. Seitliche Kolbenfläche mit 13 geschmiedeten Dornen besetzt. L 187,5 cm.
Der originale wohl eher ins späte 18. Jh. somit in die „Franzosenzeit“ zu datierende Morgenstern trägt die Jahrzahl „1646“. Seit dem man 1622 im Verlauf der Bündnerwirren (1618-1639) in Seewis 1622 den Kapuziner Fidelis u.a. mit Morgensternen erschlagen hatte, wurden diese als „Fidelisknüttel“ bezeichnet. Handelt es sich um einen „Fidelisknüttel“ aus dem Bündnerland ?
