19.Jh., mit Ergänzung. Nach der Antike. Bronze mit dunkler Patina. Aus grauem, poliertem Marmor gestalteter Felsvorsprung (wohl ergänzt), auf dem der Götterbote mit Flügelsandalen ruht. H 50 cm.
- Altersspuren.
Die römische Kopie eines verlorenen Originals von Lysipp aus dem 3.Jh. v. Chr. wurde 1758 in der Villa dei Papiri bei Herculaneum wiederentdeckt und befindet sich heute im Archäologischen Nationalmuseum Neapel.
