Wunderschön erhaltene Reisetruhe aus gewebtem Mongram Canvas. Buchenholz-Verstärkungen. Eckenverstärkungen sowie Beschläge aus Messing und genieteten Kanten. Seitlich in Schwarz Monogramm "B.P.". Messing-Schloss mit Schlüssel sowie zwei Schnappverschlüsse. Innenausstattung aus weisser Baumwolle. Im Deckel genietetes Diamantenmuster sowie Originaletikett und Stempel mit der Nummer 115925. Drei grosse herausnehmbare Teilfächer und ein Kleineres mit verschiedenen Unterteilungen. Schutzsack aus Leinen. 99x71x58 cm. Altersspuren. Lederspanngurt gerissen, sonst guter Zustand. Sehr schöne Patina.

1896 wurde der Monogramm-Stoff von Georges Vuitton, dem Sohn von Louis Vuitton kreiert. Literatur:
